Parent Resources
Parents are a valuable part of a student's educational experience. The La Vista staff would like to extend the invitation to parents to join us on our campus. We welcome classroom volunteers, field trip chaperones, and much more. Feel free to check out the District policy on volunteers, then contact either the office or your student's case manager to organize your volunteer time with La Vista!
Ways to help
La Vista welcomes parent and community assistance. We appreciate volunteers, field trip chaperones, and donations. We also have a Site Council and love to have parents participate.
With the expansion of our culinary arts, horticulture, and independent living skills programs, we would especially appreciate donations of materials for the kitchen and garden. Please contact the office at 916-971-5221 if you are able to make a donation. We greatly appreciate anything you can offer!
Family and Community Engagement Department (FACE)
