Principal's Message

Welcome to La Vista Center!

My name is Eric Anderson, and I am the Program Administrator at La Vista Center.  Our program is a Special Education Center, serving students grades 9-12.  I have worked for San Juan Unified since 2016.  I started as a Special Education teacher, then worked for the department as a Program Specialist.  I have always believed in supporting our providers in meeting our students where they are at, and providing the scaffolds to remove roadblocks to success.  At La Vista Center, our talented staff build strong relationships with students and use evidence-based practices to support them academically, socially and emotionally, while always keeping safety a priority.  Our students benefit from our services, and make progress towards success whether that be graduation, college or careers.  I am committed to my role in providing our students with the opportunities and experiences needed to become motivated in working towards their goals for success..  

I look forward to working with our students, parents and community in supporting our amazing students.
